How Heat and Humidity Change the Way a Scent Wears

Fragrance doesn't behave the same way at 45°C as it does in a mild European spring, which is where most perfumery is still designed and tested. Heat speeds up evaporation, humidity thickens the air around you, and top notes that were meant to last twenty minutes can burn off in five.

We test every O'DORE blend through a full local summer before it ships — not in a lab with climate control, but on skin, outdoors, in traffic. If a note doesn't survive that, it gets reworked.

The practical upshot for you: apply to pulse points after showering, not before you dress, and don't be afraid to reapply once in the afternoon. It's not a flaw in the fragrance — it's just physics.
