Why We Blend in Small Batches

Mass production wants consistency above everything, which usually means simplifying a formula until a machine can reproduce it without variation. That tends to flatten exactly the details that make a scent interesting.

We blend in batches small enough that one person can taste-test the whole run by hand. It costs more and it's slower, and every batch has to earn its place on the shelf.

It also means when something's off, we catch it before it ships — not after a thousand bottles are already out the door.
